  • I work with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and more.

    Areas of specialization and interest include: Intergenerational trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, and AAPI and immigrant communities.

  • I currently offer virtual and in person sessions. Virtual sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

    Telehealth services are currently available to clients physically in the state of Virginia.

  • Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes long.

  • Therapy sessions are confidential with a few exceptions, such as situations involving safety concerns or as required by law:

    • If your are in imminent danger to yourself or another person

    • The abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult

    • A subpoena by a court, signed by a judge, to disclose information

    In our work together we will collaborate so we know how best to support you should any of the previous situations arise. Other exceptions include:

    • When you as the client provide written consent for any of your information to be released

  • In our sessions, we’ll work together to explore ways to manage your mood, increase self-awareness, embrace self-acceptance, heal from past trauma, and build more meaningful relationships. My approach is rooted in affirmation and collaboration. I draw from person-centered interventions to support you in reaching your goals.

Costs and Fees

  • I accept insurance through Headway, a platform that handles insurance billing and benefits verification.

    Once you fill out the initial intake information, I can verify your coverage and let you know your copay or deductible.

    I am currently in-network with the following insurances:

    • Aetna

    • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • Anthem EAP

    • Carelon Behavioral Health

    • Cigna

    • Horizon BCBS of New Jersey

    • Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania

    • Kaiser Permanente of the Mid Atlantic

    • Quest Behavioral Health

    If I am out-of-network, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your out-of-network benefits.

  • Individual Therapy

    • 30 minute sessions: $75

    • 45 minute sessions: $125

    • 60 minute sessions: $150

    Couples and Relationship Therapy

    • 60 minute sessions: $200

    Our rates are currently lower than the average cost of care for out-of-network psychotherapy in our service area, according to the Fair Health Consumer Guide.

  • I accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA, FSA, HRA, or checking accounts. Payment is processed securely through Headway.

  • I offer a limited number of time-limited, sliding-scale/reduced-fee spots to clients experiencing financial hardship related to job loss or job insecurity. Prospective clients can inquire via email if a reduced fee spot is available.

    I am not currently accepting pro-bono clients, but I can provide resources for pro-bono or low-cost services in the area.

  • Yes, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a $75 fee. This policy helps ensure availability for all clients.

    Please note: insurance does not cover missed session fees.
